I dont really understand MySpace?

I have signed up. I sent a msg to one of my friends but it seems that my page is just a page for advertisement. It doesnt look cool and i find it really hard to navigate and get used to and i dont have any photos yet because i dont have any on this computer. I literally signed up about 2 mins ago. Any advice??

Get a cool background, maybe add a little bit about you I love my space i use it every day (fiance in Iraq) good way to communicate with people that are far away, it seriously like saves my life! Just Search like background for my space add a song you like or some friends even if u don't knoww them you can always get to kno them! Good Luck its alot of fun!

delete your account, trust me. myspace is infested with viruses. i got a virus in literally 27 seconds. please take my advice!!!

You can edit your profile and put in information about yourself. You could also search for myspace layouts and once you find one you like you copy it's code and then paste it into your about me. This same process works for games and other cool items but those don't have to be put into your about me.

there are lots of different ways you can design your page .... just google tom myspace editor or something like that and it's super easy. there's also always facebook :P

first off get Norton anti virus on your computer. It only coast around $40 and it would stop all your myspace virus from going onto your computer. Another thing set your whole profile to prvt and all your comment to prvt. Myspace is fun to have it took me sometime to enjoy it. I enjoy making new friends from other country's. I enjoy Japan so I could make friends with someone from Japan and brush up on my Japanese. Also I discovered new cool music. The reason why there is so many ads is because that is how they make there money and that is why it is free for you.If it is free why cry?

get a Layout; type in stuff about yourself in your profile; invite friends; put games [if u want] on there, you'll get the hang of it after awhile.
