Okay I have these cool backgrounds and cursors and things to put in my profile for others to see and i copy the code down but where do you paste it???

you go to edit profile, and paste the stuff for the premade background stuff, the cursors etc into the about me section. you can put HTML into pretty much any square, but that will only determine the general area that the item will be in. (music, books, etc.) but the stuff that will affect how your profile looks would be best put into the about me section.
