ok this guy who came up to me after playing basketball in the gym yesterday asked my name and seemed interested.. and I kind of just assumed he was.. I mean, since he started talking to me. I've liked this guy for a long time btw.. So a few hours after I get home I friend him on facebook, he accepts, and I write to him I was sorry for blowing off ( my friend had come up and started talking to me ugh) and he replied "no thats cool" so I said "alright good, I'll see you around" and he said "ok" ... Thats it.. He didnt ask to hang out sometime or anything. Should I assume he doesnt care , or does he just need time? Why such short replies??? PLEASE HELP

Ask more leading and open ended questions. You have to lead them into the conversation. Don't ask questions that can be answered with a yes and no. Ask multi part questions that require paragraph answers.

He's just being a guy. He might like you and he may not. Who knows for sure, but if you do like him and like the fact that he came up to you continue to talk to him. Text him again later and ask what he's up to and chat about something that both of you are interested in like maybe basketball or something else. Your going to keep getting short answers from guys but just keep talking and you might even have to be the one to ask him to dinner or a movie, men sometimes are interested but shy.
